ENTEROVIRUS (EV-D68)
Many states are seeing cases of an uncommon Enterovirus, D68, which can be serious for infants, children and teenagers. There have been no laboratory-confirmed cases reported in South Dakota but several South Dakota specimens are being tested for the virus. As test results become available the Department of Health will post numbers of confirmed cases at this site.
